What documents are required to become a taxi driver?
- Driver’s license (held for at least 1 year)
- Proof of identity (age 18 or older)
- Certificate of No Criminal Record (issued within the last 30 days)
- Medical examinations and psychological tests
- 1 photo, 35×45 mm
- A registration certificate with a taxi stamp (if you will be driving your own car)
- A valid third-party liability insurance policy (if you will be driving your own vehicle).
Do you hire foreign nationals? What documents do you need?
If you are a foreigner, you will need to complete a few minor formalities before you can start working. Our specialists will be happy to assist you with this. Contact our team!
What are the total costs I will incur by working with you?
You pay for the ride-sharing app you used (60 zł; if you don’t ride, you don’t pay) + 6% VAT on the transportation service + a social security contribution (0–140 zł, once a month).
What is social security?
If you have signed a power-of-attorney agreement with us, we have registered you with the social insurance agency and you have health insurance. This means you can easily see a doctor or get health insurance for your family members.
What is VAT?
VAT is a tax on goods and services.
In the transportation sector, there are two main VAT rates: 8% and 23%. The 8% rate applies to passenger transportation and taxi services, while the 23% rate applies to other services.
What can I issue an invoice for?
You can pay bills for:
- Fuel.
- All types of auto repair and maintenance, auto parts and accessories, car washes, etc.
When will I receive my money transfer?
We send payments to drivers every Monday, so your account will receive the payment by Tuesday at the latest.
If you haven’t received the payment by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, please contact us.
